Patented Full Flight CaptureTM for In-Flight Data Recording of Arrow Ballistic Performance
The micro-electronic system housed in the Velocitip Electronic Field Point includes an accelerometer, micro-controller and non-volatile memory. The system continuously records acceleration data throughout the arrow’s flight and also captures the time of flight. The flight-data is saved in the field point memory in 4 shot groups.
Extended Downrange Performance Delivers a Maximum Amount of Ballistic Data
To collect data far downrange, the Velocitip Electronic Field Point records flight data for over 3/4 of a second for each shot. We find that the increased shot distances provide some of the best comparative data because the affects of differences in arrow drag increase with increasing shot-distance. Although you will have to learn the maximum distance for your equipment, we offer the following approximations for the max. shot distance:

Use the Ergonomically Designed Handheld Docking Station for Download, Processing and Immediate Display of Precise Trajectory and Measured Ballistic Values
After taking any of 1-4 shots, the field point is removed from the arrow and plugged into the docking station. dThe flight-data is downloaded and saved to the Docking Station where it is immediately processed for display of the measured ballistic data. 100 Yards of precise trajectory plus measured ballistic values for each of the 4 shots, include:
